Florian Rohe joins the management board of General Atomics AeroTec Systems GmbH in Oberpfaffenhofen

The German aircraft manufacturer General Atomics AeroTec Systems GmbH, GA-ATS, appointed a new managing director. Florian Rohe joined the team of Harald Robl and Erik Bollen on 1 August, further strengthening the management board of GA-ATS.

Florian Rohe holds a degree in engineering and a Master of Business Administration and brings more than 20 years of experience in the fields of commercial aviation as well as maintenance and repair to GA-ATS.

Wide experience in the aviation industry

His professional career began in 2001 at the airline Deutsche BA in Munich in various positions in the technical department. Subsequently, Florian Rohe took over the technical management at Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter (LGW) and from 2013 at airberlin. Most recently, Florian Rohe worked for the TUI Group and, as Head of Part-M, managed the engineering departments of the five group airlines in Belgium, Holland, Sweden, England and Germany. From 2018, as Technical Director, he also took over the technical division of TUIfly in Hanover (EASA Part-145, Shops and CAMO) and successfully reintegrated the maintenance and repair division into the TUI Group structure.

In the last 10 years, he shared his industry and sector knowledge with many students during his teaching activities at the Technical University of Wildau, where he lectured aircraft maintenance and aviation law.

With the expansion of the management team, General Atomics AeroTec Systems continues its ambitious plans. Florian Rohe will advance the further development, process optimisation and restructuring of GA-ATS as operational managing director.
